Nojoystick detected error

i keep getting this error no joystick detected, then when i press ok, it goes to a black screen the fps is running but the game doesnt fully load up?

Switch to the PadSimple plugin and try again.

thanks i have loaded the padsimple, but then when i load the game it comes to a blank screen, fps is runnin but the game menu isnt loading up
