No Sound in Some Games

Hello again

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with no sound in some games- and a way to fix it!

The default 1964 sound plugin doesn't appear to be configurable, as no menu opens when it is clicked. I have tried a couple of other plugins but none seem to do the trick.

I also get garbled noise in Star Fox- Lylat Wars; I;m not sure if this is part of the same problem.

My setup is Athlon XP 2000+, 256mb RAM, Soundblaster soundcard.

Many thanks to all that reply

you need to use another sound plug-in for star fox.
I think, that using the RSP emulation plug-in from PJ64,the sound works fine, that happens in paper mario

Thanks for this thread. It should be included with the 1964 .ZIP. :) If anyone uses Azimer, it is suggested to turn on all the features and set the buffer to default in the plugin settings, seemingly flawless.

Any chance of Azimer putting out a new version? Where should the following information be sent?

Azimer's Audio v0.40 Beta 2 problems:
San Francisco Rush (U) [!]
Banjo-Tooie (U) [!]
WWF - War Zone (U) [!]

I don't like Azimer's Plugin, because it forces the framerate to the N64 stanard, but often I'm speeding up the game for jumping cut-scenes or stuff like that.

Azimer has the best sound imo, and now i found a fix for the reversed stereo :D:D.

Though it forcing the frame rate to the n64 default really sucks.
