No controller problem

when i try to play a ROM, it says that there is no controllr and i can't do anything. What do i do?

o and i do not have a converter, i am just using my Keyboard.

make sure that the icon is checked that says controller is plugged in. if you are using N-Rages plugin, try Jabos if the problem persists

I use the keyboard all the time, sometimes it is the ROM itself, but it is highly unlikely your situation (I know cause I fiddled with advanced setings for one game and cant get it back, lol)

it says that the Jabo plug in is unavailable. Where can i get it and how do i install it into the Emulator so that i will work. (i got an other plug in once and it didn't work. It said that it was unavailable. I can't remember what one)

The symptoms you are getting may be caused by MSVCR71.DLL being missing.

basically you download PJ64 and you have 2 windows open, one for 1964 plugins, and one for PJ64 plugins, you drag jabo's plugins into the 1964 plugins, or if you use both emulators; you can compress the plugins into a zip archive, and then extract them into the 1964 plugin folder. What you could also do is what i did to my emulators, I basically made one folder just for all plugins, I would combine everything into one huge archive.

I have the same problem but only the first time I start 1964 after starting windows. When I start rom it says that controller is not plugged in, then I restart rom and everything is working fine!
