NFL Blitz SE-crashing computer everytime

I'm using Glide64 since that's the only way to get the game looking right but it also happens with others. I've tried two versions of Glide64 and each gives me this problem. Once the football game itself begins I cannot escape but the game keeps running fine. I have to restart my comp. to regain control. I've also tried a couple adjustments in the rom's properties but no good. The rom is fine I've had it for a loooong time and works perfect with PJ.
I really do enjoy playing this game frequently and I hate having this problem. Any ideas on this one? :bounce:

Well apparently using Glide64 .253 in the "rom plugin settings" causes a problem. So I do it the old fashioned way of selecting the plugin from the main menu. This enables the game to esc. from fullscreen after the football has begun. BUT if I'm using the RUMBLE PAK and when I esc. to windowed mode, the sytem THEN crashes and I need to reboot. It sounds like a little bit of a bug in the emu to me but I might be wrong.

Sooooo can anybody here think of a reason why this game (any game for that matter) would take over my computer-again the game plays fine but I'm denied acccess to my comp. once its started in-game. It still does crash though doing what I said in the last post. And playing without rumble sucks especially for the game that I do surprisingly play more than any other.

I was just playing the game and in the last quarter of the game , the sound shut off and did not come back. THEN, this absoultly true, with ONE second on the clock, I needed a touchdown from the 26 or so and made a quick pass and right as I hit the ONE yardline, THE GAME FROOOOOZE!!! My most played game is being heartbreaking in a couple ways here. Sooo, ummm any help would be nice.
