Hi everyone!

I have a question I am hoping someone here can help me with. I have been trying to get an emulator to work with Mario Kart 64 in 2 player mode. Quite a few of them work fine, but the problem is that when you are in 2 player mode, 1 player will always lose their audio. IE, you pick up an item with player 1. Player 1 has sound. Player 2 picks up an item. Player 2 has no sound. Whoever picks up the sound seems to get the sound. I hope I am making sense. If I am not, please tell me and I will try to explain again. Thanks.

Yes, I have tried several different emulators. Project64 was one of them. It works wonderful in single player, and even in two player everything thing else is fine. But the audio and voiceovers for player 2.

so it's a problem with your audio card. Maybe you can not produce more than X audio channel, and than in two player mode...

Not likely. Most people don't have problems with Santa Cruz cards. Creative cards have far more problems. The audio doesn't work right still but it doesn't matter anymore. I purchased a used copy for $10. The audio plugins weren't working right. Some would not work well. Some would miss certain effects. Some would not support 2 channel silmultaneous sound.
