Hello there...
Sorry for the ancient game question...Just wondering if anyone can help me get Star Fox running well in 1964. While actually playing, the game is mostly flawless. But while looking at the planets and during the mission speech, frame rates drop and the sound gets all choppy. But from the moment the rom starts there is a boarder around the outside of the screen which clips the screen size and distorts it sort of weird. :< Please help me as I loved this game on SNES and it was the only reason for me buying an N64 over the PS1 (When that was an issue :)...but the N64 was stolen last year...please..... Using :

Jabo D3D7 1.4
Azimer Audio .3
NRage DInput8 1.61 on a

P III 800mhz
256 PC133 RAM
60 GIG 10,000 RPM HD
ATI 32 MB Video Card

Thanks

The menu slow-down is a known issue and I don't think there's a fix at this time. The black border is a game design issue and is not the fault of the emulator.

Thanks for yer input...but I've tried a couple of different emus on this one and it seems that each one does certain things a little better...the best two it seems are Nemu64 (Fixes all slowdown problems, and the fuked boarder around the screen. But it introduces a few effect problems...The water in the first level is funny looking, and the scene where the camera allows you to look at your partners through their cockpits-the glass is kinda funny). ANd the other good emu is 1964, which runs the action part of the game just fine (with a fuked boarder, BUT with proper water and glass), but like before there is slowdown during planets and scrolling text and speech. Oh well.....

Thanks for the help....
