Firefox 0.8 is very stable... you can use it....
I had no problems to install the brazilian version, because it coming only in complete setup packages... i don't need to install the english ver first....

in Spanish (Argentina) have a full installer too for firefox......
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla....ocalized/firefox-0.8-win32-esAR-installer.exe
in spanish(spain) have a language pack for firefox....
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/l10n/postinst-notes/ff08.html

Once the download and the installation has fully completed, you'll need to activate this language for the Mozilla Firefox user interface.

To activate the new language:

* Close all Mozilla Firefox windows
* Restart the program from the command line, adding the following switches:
MozillaFirefox -UILocale es-ES -contentLocale ES
* The user interface should be in your favourite language

The locale codes are shown in the previous page, beside each localization project information.

I don't know how to for Mozilla Suite......

Ive seen a lot of betas that are much more stable than some final products. FireFox is one of them.

You have to realize that the Mozilla team is about twice as serious as any other Open Source project out there. Their "beta" is likely to be WAY (300-400%) more stable than many other projects. This has proven to be true in my opinion, as well.

What is wrong with it being beta? More people use firefox than the mozilla suite by far. It's been quite stable since .5.

firefox isn't beta is it? Well the official releases shouldn't be anwyay, the nightly builds are betas though but very stable

It's beta until it reaches 1.0.

Firefox is awesome, I just think it sucks that the linux version doesnt have the awesome icon.

That is such a nitpick! You can steal the icon anyway, and of course, it will eventually regardless.

Eagle, are you using 0.8+? I believe the Linux FireFox 0.8 does have the kick ass fox icon. The unofficial builds dont get them due to some licensing issues or something. Im postive its in the icon subdir, just dont remember if its in the actual application.
