Nemu Frames (All versions)

Hey everyone! I would like to start by saying that ever since the few years ago I figured out emulation nemu has always been the top of my list. That was when my highest spec'd computer was a 667 mhz compaq with 256 mb sdram and an 11 mb shared video card. I'm now running a 1.8 gigahertz celeron, 512 PC3200, 64 MB Radeon 7500, 40 gig, and an integrated AC'97 sound cad:getlost:, haha some day I'll get a nice sound card.

Unfortunately, I've never had the personal satisfaction of games running at what I'd consider a good experience. I have always bit my tounge at people who asked these kind of questions, but I've seen friend's running nemu and the such at great quality on significantly less computers the speed of mine. As a breakdown, my 1.8 gigahertz is not much faster then the old compaq. I wrote this post because even on more demanding games I always have top frame rates, and I was wondering if anyone had an idea of why my hardware or what-not might be slowing me down. I have all the latest drivers, and directx. I experience constant sound skipping and slow performing frame rates. I'm sorry for anyone who has wasting their time reading this, it's been haunting me for a while basically and I'm sure some more experienced gamers might know the answer.
P.S. This is not necessarily nemu dependent, I have had it from multiple emulators, however nemu is my favorite. I miss nemu:cry:, and only hope the best things for Lac and Lemmy.

I think your problem is the Celeron CPU, it is waaaaaaaay slower than a real PIII. The skipping sound is (of course) caused by your integrated sound which slows down a little too. You can do the following things to speed Nemu up:

- Update your video-card drivers
- Scan your hard-disk for virusses.
- Read my low-end users thread: ( http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?threadid=14239 )
