I have a PS2 to USB adapter and i can every button on the controller for PJ except i can't use the analog sticks on the controller during anygame game and instead i have to use the D-Pad, but it's really hard sometimes without a analog stick in platformers. Anyone could lend me a tip?

Are you using the Dualshock 2? If you are, press the Analog button. It'll turn on and you can use it.

PS2 usb is an awsome controller for N64. A strong tip is to set your right analog as "C" buttons. It really simulates the gamecube c sticks very well and works wonders (better then the C stick it'self). Set the left analog for controls and D Pad witht he USB D-pad. A button shold be X and B button should be square, Start button should be start button ofcourse lol. Set the Z button to L2 and it will give you the same feel just like the N 64 controller. PS2's layout was as if it was designed for N64.

The controls and analog work fine now, but now theres another problem. After i turn on analog, in games like mario 64, the main character runs in one direction by itself without me controlling it. I can control it, but when i let it stand by itself it ends up running inself into the wall. How do i fix it?

Allow the analog stick to be neutral and press L+R+Start. That'll reset the analog mid-point.

hi, i already had that problem, change the control plugin to the latest version of N-Rage directinput and in devices select the gamepad and the deadzone of around 10% or less, that worked for me. tell me how it goes

Still didn't work, but thanks for all the help from everyone who gave me a tip. I'll just use the D-pad from now on since using analog is too much of a hassle.

yeah i tried using the PSX radioshack adapter in UT2004 and it doesnt work correctly. I've not tried it in an n64 emulator, but for PS emulation it works perfectly...
