i know, but getting his system specs is also useful for configuration purposes, so other games won't have issues.
to the original poster.
the best video plugin for you is the Dx6 plugin.
im going to 'aquire' gauntlet legends now and i'll see if i can find a fix for it.
ok i seem to have fixed it (i don't know how)
i tried messing with all the settings, but that didn't help
heres what fixed it for me.
disabled
Super2xSal
and always fitler textures
then i reenabled them,
and now the flickering is gone. :|
it comes back when you run though... seems to be a really slow redraw rate thats the problem, that why its flickering. fps is also very slow.
just noticed something, this game isn't slow becoz of system requirements, the core is causing the slow down, changing the self modifying code style to none, it runs fast with video, but without audio,
ok, the video plugin is missing primary textures and alpha isn't being properly applied, its semi applied in the Dx6 plugin, but only Rices shows the video properly.
but, the video plugin isn't the cause of the flashing, that would appear to be a problem in the core itself,
also, that same bug is causing the overly large slowdown that is appearing, theres no high system spec needed for this, just a better core. or so it would seem. as disabling the recompiler is allowing it to run smoothly,.. bar as i said without audio, also, the flickering seems to have lessened with the self modifying code set to none. which further shows that its a core issue and not a plugin issue for the flickering.
