Need help!!! Plugins.....

I need help!!!! :corpse:

When i load Project64 version 1.6 it says that 'the default or selected plugin is missing or invalid' and it pulls up settings, and when i look for plugins i cant see any and when i try to load a rom it says 'Cannot open rom because plugins have not successfully initialised' What should i do?

you must have deleted that plugin
download the newest plugins and reinstall them

how do i know which ones to download and where do i download tem to and what do i do once they are downloaded?

If you are using PJ64 you should use the default Jabo's D3D8, if you want to use remade textures use Rice's Plugin and to install them just extract them to your plugin directory in PJ64's folder and then configure them in the emulator.

I have Direct 3D8 but i dont know how to make it plugin and etc.....so how do i make it work as plugin? do i need certain programs and etc?

P.S. im not very sure what you guys are saying sometimes sry

Was messing around with advanced settings and got the plugins to appear in setting but when i try to load rom it still says
"cannot open a rom because plugins have not sucessfully initialised"

Changed to different graphics plugin and lets me run game now but all i get is noise, the screen is pitch black

ok step by step
1 download plugin
2 unzip them there should be 2 files
3 place #1 the plugin/file named Jabo_Direct3D8.dll in the Plugin folder in the
PJ64 1.6 folder it should look like this PJ64 1.6\Plugin\Jabo_Direct3D8.dll
and the other file (#2) is put in the PJ64 1.6 mane folder

Jabo's Direct 3D8 1.6 is the plugin i changed to, so i tried to load Majora's mask and screen is pitch black

how good is your video card,
and what is your CPU speed?
