N64 ROM Formats

Hey folks, I'm having an issue here that's irking me to no end. I keep getting ROMs that are in formats such as .c00, .c01, .7z, and otherwise strange things which Project64 does not recognize. Now every ROM site, with the exception of [snip], has been giving me bizarre file formats that I can't use. Could someone please tell me what the problem is here, and if there are any solutions?

.7z
.c00
.c01

You'll find the answer you need.
