When I run any rom in pj64 my controller won't work. I have an original n64 controller hooked up to my computer through a usb adapter. I have used but the default input plugin and Nrage plugin and neither works. I am selecting usb gamepad in the input settings but it still won't work. what is wrong??

Does Windows (or whatever OS you use) detect the controller properly - buttons, axes, etc.?

So basically what you're saying is that when you try to assign buttons, axes and the like in the controller plugin configuration dialog window, nothing happens, right? Note that there are a lot of dodgy USB adapters out there that simply do not work despite their claim that they are fully compatible with whatever OS and controller you have.

If Windows detects button presses in the Control Panel, I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work in PJ64. You have mapped the controller buttons to the functions that you want them to perform in PJ64's controller configuration, correct?

On the Devices tab in N-Rage's plugin, or in plain sight on Jabo's plugin, adjust the deadzone in the controller configuration dialog. (Deadzone is how far you have to move the stick in one direction before it will register movement in the emulator.)
