Hi every1,

everytime i play ISS 2000 (US), after a while playin' Project64 returns to Windows Screen and displays the Message "Max Code Blocks Reached", if i try to swith back to the fullscreen mode i just get a black screen. This error happens to appear when i play and even when i just edit the ingame playernames. After installing the Beta-Rom-Database-File which i download from the link in this forum the Error seems to occur not that often, but still it happens to appear. Please Help Me .... i just gotta play the World Series in ISS and with this Error i get mad !

My Hardware Configuration should not be the problem
MSI KT266 Board
AMD Athlon XP 1600
512 MB DDR RAM
Geforce 2 Mx
Running WinXP Pro

I Use Project64 V1.4 with the D3D DisplayPlugin ( doesn't matter if i use the DX6 oder DX7 option ... the error appears all the time)

I tried that tool, that should make a good rom out of a bad one, but all it did is crash the ROM so that i'm not able to play from that Rom NE-More ! Fortunately i got an backup from where i play.

I examined the Folder of PJ64 and found the DX6Error.log
There is written a more exact Error Message

"Error deleting zbuffer attachment"

So that might give u smart ones a hint what i gotta do to make pj64 emulate the zbuffer right, so that i may play

thx

The Program said the ROM was bad and tried to fix it. But the ROM that should be fixed does not seem to run ! Only the original ROM works (the one i made a backup from, b-4 using the proggie to determine if it was good or bad)

goodn64 will not try to fix ur roms, only rename them. And if the rom is bad u will most propably need to download it again

So OK,
the Rom is not Bad/Corrupt cuz i DL it again and it was exactly the same File.

The only problem is that sometimes the above described error appears ("Error deleting zbuffer attachment"). So the only question i have is: Is there an option 2 change the way the zbuffer is emulated to get around that error ?

It might be a bad dump on the site, meaning u have to download it somewhere else. And the zbuffer should not have anything to do with it. Also u still didn't tell us if it was a bad rom or not :sleepy:

None of what you're writing makes sense V1RTU4L, and I suspect you're not using GoodN64 properly. Assuming you are however, after running the program your rom should have a brand new name. What exactly is the file name?
