My pet is dead.

I understand that it is not of your concern but my little Hamster died today in the hands of my wife, her name was Frutti and i am posting it because nobody that i cared about never died and this was the first time i got a pet, i am perhaps blinded by grief and some of you may not understand such sorrow for a small animal and a brief life, she was two years with us and time took her, she was sick but we fought it until the end and the end came.

I would like to apologyze to you guys for the extremely off topic thread, i do not care if i get banned for this but it was the only way for me to make her be bigger than this dark day.

Sorry to hear about Frutti. I think what Frutti would probably want most is for you to find a new animal to love and take care of, to keep the love and spirit alive.

I can name, off the top of my head, about 20+ now-dead pets... Fish, Geese, Dogs, Cats, Mice... Lots of cats...

It's normal to feel sorrow for the death of a pet, I'm sure many of us have been there before.

No reason to ban you, Ive post more out there topics before. Sorry about the pet, coming from someone who has had A LOT of pets, it always hurts to lose one but the hurt doesn't last forever.

Quite a few pets have died in my home too... my hamster "sonic", budgies my mum owned, fish.. well they didn't have names, and my Dog called Honey, I miss her the most... she was there my whole life practically and she died when I was 16.

There is probably others I haven't mentioned.. we've had a lot of pets.

Life without dogs sucks so we got another one called Megan, shes a golden retriever. Honey was a Labrador... rest in piece. pets.

Sorry to hear that WhiteX, I know what it's like, quite upsetting i know but thats the way life is really, can't take nothing for granted

I appreciate the support from all of you guys, it makes the word community feels warmer, my wife and i are devastated but to know that we have so many friends from so many places around the world is very comforting.
My conscience is clean for i did everything possible to heal her but it was unavoidable and probably and sadly for the best because of the amount of suffering she was passing through.
