check to see if your power supply is turned on. Some of the newer power supplies have an on/off switch, these power supplies also support advanced power management. Just check to see if there is a switch and the flick it, now try to turn it on. :)

Often the stupidest things are the ones causing the problems ;)

What are you guys telling him this for? cold1, your motherboard is most likely not the problem. You have probably overloaded your power supply. 250W is not enough to run a P3 at all. No ifs ands or buts about it, youve probably blown the PSU.

than why does it work in my old slot1 pentium2&3 main board??

If you would have read his post you would (or maybe not even then.. this is lightknight we're dealing with..) know that eagle said that 250W is not enough to run a P3 with other devices.

I run an Athlon 900mhz on a 250w PSU (a decent quality one, is infinately better than a poorer 300w). I have several devices also including:

GF3 Ti200
384ram
SBlive
1 CDRW
1 HD
2 USB devices
3 Fans

No problem at all using 250w, however - cold1, do you actually have Dual P3s, in that board? If so, then the PSU is indeed your problem. Having 1GB ram also takes up power believe it or not.

To rule out PSU issues, remove everything bar - the CPU (if you have 2, just use the 1), the Fan, 1 stick ram, GFX card. If it boots up, then it's safe to say it is a PSU issue.

Don't get too complicated. You may warp his fragile little mind, it can't take the load.

I thought that, but as you suggest - 'it can take the load' lol

Anyways, let us know if any of this has helped Cold1.

I had a similar problem recently (after an electricity failure). The PSU seemed dead untill I cleared the CMOS. Weird, isn't it?

You should find how to clear your CMOS in you mother board's manual. If you don't have it, you should find a pdf version on the manufacturer's site.

Check the power switch wire(the internal one) and reconnect the ATX connector.

Also try disconnecting all IDE cables in the computer, clearing the CMOS, and try it then.
