The Rocking PC Wiz
I have a major question here. Is my Athlon XP T-bred processor early enough to have an unlocked multiplier?
I'm asking, because if I want to overclock my Athlon XP processor just by raising the multiplier, that is, none of this overclock the FSB thus being required to get expensive PC2700 DDR SDRAM bull and I gotten wording about Athlon XP processors circa week 39 and later having a locked multiplier, thus required to
overclock the FSB and possibly the PCI bus
The overclocking the FSB method
seems to be the processor overclocking method that gets people into major trouble
with HDD data corruption the most and possibly damaging PCI cards.
