Mozilla firebird... newb's having a few probs

i finally installed firebird today, i'm well impressed, but i'm having a few probs

ddrmaniax.net worked fine before i installed active X, now it just gives me an error when i load it up :/

any ideas how to resolve this?

oh, and also on one of the sites i have visited, there is suppost to be a menu at the side, but there isnt with mozilla any ideas?

I've removed the attached picture, as it clearly showed you on a well known Warez site! As for the question, I too have noticed the side bar not showing up on some sites. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with flash.

By "the latest version", do you mean 0.6.1? I highly recommend trying one of the nightly builds.

Did you install 6.1 fresh, or did you update it over a previous version?

i installed it fresh mate, but i've fixed the error now, i have deleted the active X plugin, and everythings honkey dorey, apart from the side menu on that site

sorry mate, it's the only site i know that has the problem, yet, i would of taken a pic of another site if i could

just as a general note for users of firebird. If you like what mozilla have done with the web broswer check out thunderbird, their email client. i use both quite happily

alrite mate, but i dont use outlook much myself due to having a hotmail account, but i think i might give it a go, i'm really starting to hate M$ spyware and bloatware

One thing i wanna know about thunderbird before converting...does it support all languages? Specifically, I need to be able to see chinese characters in my mail...

no idea mate, but it wont wipe outlook though, and you dont have to use it as your primary email program, so why not try?

btw i get an error when starting up, i think its firebird related, it says "no language support detected" any idea where to get some?

oh no matter, ive found out what the prob was, it was daemon tools, for some reason its still on my pc after uninstalling it, sorted now
