While definately not the best it certainly isn't the worst. Afterall, mk4 paved the way for
mkda, which btw is the best fighter ever made.
Why? because mkda has everything and more. For sf2 fans it has fantasy-based projectile attacks. For sc fans it has a realistic weapon-based fighting system for each character. For vf fans (ugh, don't get me started) it has two additional fighting systems for each character which are extremely realisitc and based off of actual martial arts styles. Oh and fatalities and decent graphics to boot. And for you fighter kiddies there are also tons of annoyingly long and complicated combos and combo systems for you to memorize instead of doing less important things like bathing, dating and seeing the light of day.

And of course the trademark things that make a mk game a mk game... namely interesting characters and an actual plot.
My point being... sure mk4 isn't great, but the near perfect mk series deserves so much respect for what it's done for the genre that I don't think any of the games could be deemed "sucky".
Btw that was all off-topic... I just thought I would save this annoying repeat thread from being a complete waste of space.
