Mortal Kombat 4 Microsoft Visual Error

Lately I've been playing Mortal Kombat 4 on Project 64 the version everybody has. Whenever I play Mortal Kombat 4, the screen freezes, this annoying sound hurts my ear, than I get this:

It doesn't say Explorer.EXE though.
I have the Direct 1.8.6 plugin but idk what the problem is. Anybody know?

You've said nothing about your computer specs.

What does the error message actually say if not EXPLORER.EXE? Project64.exe?

It could also be a bad rom.
Please post the CRC/MD5 and the name.
