hmmm, i already have searched in this forum and on other forums but i did not find answers that solve my prob. I have loan some psx discs of friends to make isos to my emu, ePSXe 1.5.2 AND 1.6.0 . ok, then I tried to play with them. but, hmm, it just don't work. i have tried to load the iso and also mount on daemon 3.47, but its useless. everytime I run the emulator, i just get black screen, it does not load up the game. but when I run the CD game, it works normally. I already have tried all CD plugins i could get(mooby2 , p.e.op.s, sapu, DAO...) but nothing works. may someone help me?

edit: nope. i waited 2 mins and nothing, and tried using virtual drive and directly from iso.

When trying to play an ISO, the CD plugins don't really matter...

is it only one of the games that wont work or all of them? Do u have any previous ISO's that work?

When I made ISO's from my FFVII discs with Alcohol 100% they worked perfectly with my ePSXE 1.6.0 and 1.5.0.

it is because I mount the iso on Daemon, then I use the cdr plugin...
hmmm, interesting, cause I made isos from Legend of Legaia, FF7 and Clock Tower but they do not work... I used UltraISO with them, and recently, I remade FF7 with Nero 5.9 too, but it doesn't work. and yeah, I have isos that works, but only mounted.
imho, i discard the possibility of bad image... the cds are in good state and they don't have any probs when I play them on cdrom..

edit: there are some isos that I can run without virtual drives, like FF5 and GTA. but only them.

I have the solution to your problems. Get CloneCD. When you open CloneCD, go to copy CD, select your drive with the CD, select game, browse where you want to save the .iso, then make an .iso. It will make an .iso and then when you open ePSXe, go to Run ISO and open the .iso you just created with CloneCD.

CloneCD is the best program when dealing with PS1 games.

I have the solution to your problems. Get CloneCD.

It's certainly worth a try. CloneCD has always worked flawlessly for me. ISOBuster as well.

I would avoid Nero. I've never been able to get an nrg to run in ePSXe.

stupid question but... how do I make an iso with isobuster? i have it, but I just don't know how use it... :blush: i just use UltraISO, don't know other progs..

Anyway...right-click, "Extract CD [Image]", select RAW mode.

MagicISO is recommended, It is a good ISO creator. Just use it to make iso image.
