Minor Audio Lag

Hey, I have a Goldeneye ROM and the audio seems to lag a little bit when I play it. The AK47 plays about a quarter to half second after I fire it. I know I may sound nitpicky, but it gets annoying after a bit. I have PJ64 1.5 with the service pack. Any plugins are the default ones. Should I use any special plugins? Also is there any way to get mouse support? Mouse aim/firing/weapon changing in Goldeneye would be awesome! Thanks guys.

Edit: It's not just Goldeneye, Perfect Dark does it too.

1. I've also noticed a slight lag in Jabo's sound plugin (must be the buffer) but it still gives me the clearest sound. You could also try Azimer's .30 (old plugin) or .40b2 plugins and reduce the buffer under the audio settings.

2. You can use the mouse with those games by using NRage's input plugin version 1.82.

For the sounds, its really normal with default Jabo DS plugin. the audio isn't accurate and really sync with the game. I suggest u to take one of the Azimer lastest beta/alpha of his audio plugin
the first beta works great for me, really sync but some game cannot be played, but the last one, the alpha, I seems I huge de-sync in all game, bigger that the jabo's one. So try both (the beta is working perfectly in GE)

Prepare for a newbie question. How do I get these plugins and what do I do with them? Oh, and for the mouse aim, would I have to hold down the aim button in PD or GE to get full aiming?

Thanks, I got the audio plugin you guys were talking about. Now, I should put it in my PJ64 directory. Which files should I move to the backup folder before I put this in the plugin folder?

Azimer's Audio Plugin 0.40 beta 2. Works awesome! Perfectly synced. I maxed the buffer and set it to sync the audio with game play. The .50 beta was nothing but problems, but this, oh this is nice! Oh and the NRage mouse aim is cool, but is there away to assign two keys to the same function? I want up on the control stick to be both mouse up and w. Oh it is also a pain when the game fights you back for the aiming. You know, like how when you move up it automatically defaults to the center? Can I change this? Oh, and where's the best place to buy an adaptoid? Heh, I could load my Perfect Dark game save onto my PC from my memory card and continue the game on the PC.
