I hyped it but in the end it fell short to the expectation.
The game is beautiful to see but you face, like, five enemies with different colors to reflect the weapon of their choice.
still on the weapons, everyone in the game uses the same weapons you acquire, both the hunters, the probes, the two legged dudes, everyone.
There´s more action than a metroid game, but less puzzles and most of them on morph ball form (i hate morph ball).
it is a poor experience altogether on single player, dunno about multi, but as soon as the excitement of having my paws over it want off i saw that it was poor, only this, poor.

Frankly,

I'm privately furious that they DARED to call this a metroid game. If I liked Halo, I would play Halo. I don't. I know that the big to-do was all about the multiplayer, but I thought that being a METROID GAME.... the single player should be at least REASONABLE. Ok, I FINISHED the original (didn't BEAT it, as in get 100% under time limit) BUT, I BEAT Return of Samus, BEAT Super metroid, BEAT Fusion, BEAT Zero mission (which was a small amount watered down in my opinion), FINISHED Prime (one word... WOW), got halfway through Prime 2 and had to return my friends game cube. Sometimes I even LOOK like a metroid. Sorry, to you people out there that liked Hunters.... but this is not, Not, NOt, NOT a metroid game. It is completely linear, there is no exploring to do, the enemies all look alike, you have no power ups to find, and there are OTHER hunters around who somehow have "better" special abilities than you and your Chozo powered suit. (Anguished scream: This game has hurt me!!!!!) NOT a metroid game. And so, being the strange and demented person that I am, I'm going take my copy back and pretend this game doesn't exist. And I will succeed.
