Memory packs not working in Pokemon Staduim

Hi I just got the rom for Pokemon Staduim and I can't seem to get the memory pack working , I went into the settings and choosed memory pack but in the game it says its not plugged in ? its weird , I tried with all the other plugins but with every plugin it said no memory pack installed even though I created a new one and formatted it. Can anyone help ?

I'm using the new Project64 Version 1.6

the plugins I've tried are:

1)N-Rage's Direct-Input9 V2 1.8a
2)Jabo's DirectInput 7 1.6
3)Adaptoid Plugin v1.0

none of them worked I can move around alright no problems but I want to save and stuff to a memory pack but can't seem to get it working. My N64 broke but I want to keep playing the games on my computer. can anyone help me please.

System specs
CPU:2.8gig AMD Althon , 1Gig DDR Memory , 180g hard drive space, Nivida 128meg FX5200

Yeah sorry for bringing up a dead thread but.. I've been having this problem aswell. I've followed the directions as posted...


o Get the newest version from http://go.to/nrage.
o unzip file and put .dll in your Plugin directory
o select this new Plugin in the Project64 Menu Options -> Settings...
o configure Plugin with Options -> Configure Controller Plugin...
o here you can define your buttons and such..
o go the the "Controller Pack" tab
o make sure "RawData" is checked
o select "Mem Pack" from the pulldown menu
o click "New Mem Pack/Browse" to create a new Mem Pack
o Format it with "Format Mempack"
o Load up your rom which is designed for the Mem Pack
I run the game but all I get is this...

I've been at this for quite some time now. I've tried it on the default pj64 plugin but I get the same results.
I noticed in the "shortcut" tab they have a setting to "insert mem pak" but when I do press it it says "changed mempak" in the top left corner. But nothing has really changed.

does the name of the mem pack matter?


My apologies for the reply. I understand that this matter has been brought up a million times and I've searched them all and ran the same directions. Please keep the burning to a minimum. I hope the screenshots help.

I've been having this problem too and it's VERY frustrating. I've searched the forums and all topics related to this have NEVER been answered. Could someone please find out why this is happening or at least tell us that it's impossible to play the ROM?

Remember that the name isn't mempack but transfer pack. You HAVE to use it with nrage's latest plugin and play/save the gb game in VisualBoy Advance in order to use it for Pokemon Stadium.
