Marvel vs Capcom 2 freezing

When I start Chankast the deamcast logo has grey blotches on it over where it says deamcast and once i try to start a fight it freezes no messages, just stoped responding... why?

my video card and all that are fine, but i fixed it, i had some optoin clicked on, when i took it off it cleared up
