hi everyone, since I am a noob, I apologize if this has already been asked,why isn't the text readable when I play the rom?

This should be fixed with at least the D3D8 1.6 plugin if you are refering to the (E) version which previously had a text bug.

Download PJ64 1.6 if you don't have it from:

http://www.pj64.net/main/download/

Once installed, go to Options > Settings to change plugins. With PJ64 1.6, the D3D8 plugin is already the default.
