Mario Party 2

This isn't a rom request, let me state that.

Is this game a scam or something? I think while downloading it that I picked up a virus and it automatically fixed it, but the packer, when ran after completion, said CRC failed and that the ROM was corrupted.

Should I download this file again? Or has this game not been ripped for PJ64?

The following games I have and work with PJ64:
A bug's life, BattleTanx, Bomberman64, Cruis'n USA, Earthworm Jim 3D, GoldenEye 007, Harvest Moon 64, Mario Kart 64, Micro Machines 64 Turbo, Monopoly, Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness, Paper Mario (was a ***** to get graphics working well... now works pretty well with Evoodoo and Glide64), Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, Quest 64, South Park - Chef's Luv Shack, Super Mario 64, Superman, Turok - Dinosaur Hunter, Wave Race 64 Shindou Edition

The following games I have and do not work with PJ64:
Disney's Tarzan (freezes when you go to play it), Dr. Mario (Can't get graphics working right), Hydro Thunder (Doesn't seem to work)

Need to test:
Kirby 64 - The Crystal Shards

Can anyone fix Tarzan/Dr. Mario/Hydro Thunder (Some plugins I should use for those games)?

DR Mario is running fine with Rice's daedalus 5.1.0 and newer.
Tarzan is running fine with 1964+Jabo's D3D 1.5 (or Corn if you don't mind bad graphics and no sound).
Hydro Thunder will work with Azi's LLE 5 for sound + Jabo's D3D 1.5

My settings must be messed up then. When running Rice 5.1.0 with Dr. Mario, first it starts of black and while (sorta gray sprites with no details), and then it does a sort of rainbow thing, where it displays one color at a time.

Kirby works great (using Evoodoo/Glide64).

As for your rom, I can assure you that an uncorrupted version does indeed exist. I would be weary of downloading unknown .exe files from P2P though.

Try disabling fast texture in the settings and use DirectX instead of OGL (or OGL instead of DX if you are using that).

Is Dr Mario fully playable in older versions of Rices plugin? I always thought the pill was unemulated for some reason.

Oh and it's worth mentioning that Rices pluginis pretty hardware dependent, for example using DX mode with a Radeon or GF3 or above class card causes probs if you don't use 3D Analyze with it.

Switching to Direct X did help, but not much. It just shows the first screen (not real well) with bouncing hills. And fast texture didn't appear to make a difference.

Thanks Trotter. I will have to try my luck again.
