Many Problems :( (SSBM)

I have used the search function for a while to find the solution for this but alas...nothing.

For the third time ive recently uninstalled Dolphin so that i can finally install it right.

Let me just check the steps im meant to take (from the youtube vid "Step by Step info to get SSBM to run faster)


1) Install Dolphin v1.02 (since im using 32 bit vista nt 64)
2) Download dll. Package etc.
3) Then Install GCos 1.5 Final

However when i open GCos 1.5 Final, it doesnt come up with "CPU reset" Like in the video...This means that the game freezes as soon as a match starts but the game is in a decent FPS - i have also tried the language glitch but since the rom i downloaded only had 2 languages rather than the 5 or 6 in the vid im going to download the EU version - not US

(Also i do have a gamepad as well as a keyboard but prefer a keyboard - Can i use the keyboard for this?)

Hey dude. I have a problem runing Dolphin 1.03 Final . I keep geting a error message saying that the applcation needs to shutdown. The ModName is ntdll.dll, The ModVer is 5.2.3790.1830 and the offset is 0001f17d. what does this mean and how can I fix this problem ?

Did you make SSBM your default rom before opening GCos?

SSBM can't be sped up by a huge margin. It's not worth trying to get it to work. The nature of the GameCube hardware means that the system is very complex to emulate on an architecture that's completely different. Oh yeah, and upgrade to 1.03.

I think I know why you only have two languages. I think the roms with five languages are roms of retail versions of SSBM, and the ones with only two are versions of SSBM that were packaged within purchases of GameCube systems. I got my SSBM disc with my GCN and it only has two languages, so I think that's it.

Everyone else, how do you use the GCos with Dolphin 1.03.2? I always get unknown instruction errors.

1) I didnt realise asking for help with the emulator was against the rules - you might want to make that clear (unless its advice on ripping iso's)
2) I cant upgrade to 1.03 because as i sed i have 32bit vista not 64bit

Asking for help with emulators is not against the rules. Asking how to rip ISOs or where to get them is. same goes for GCOS.

You can upgrade to Dolphin 1.03. It's is 32-bit. The new 1.03.2 that supports dual core processors isn't, however.
