Majoras Mask probs

whenever I battle an enemy (any enemy) the video and sound slow down and become jerky. What's wrong, and how can I fix it?
Also, the brother fairy (I forget his name) is the same white colour as the other one, instead of purple.

Help would be appreciated.

towards your frame rates problem (in order of importance):
lower resolution
turn off AntiAliasing (AA)
turn down the Antistophic Filtering
lower the color bits to 8 bit or 16 bit

shoot for 60 frames per second

towards the unpurple brother: It is likely your rom could be messed up.

It's also possible that Tael isn't purple because of your video card being "Below specs". You'll have to post your computer specs and card types. As well as a lot of other things laid out in the rules for asking for help.
