and then after that pops up this pops up -

GRAFICS ERROR

and if it helps at all according to pj64 my grafics card is

NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420

so what is going on and is there a way to fix it? do I need to download a new grafics plugin and if so which one?

Make a normal game save and restart the game and use that rather than use a savestate to restart the game. Savestates accumulate errors which lead to problems like the one you are having. A native ("normal") save MIGHT solve your problem.

There's probaly a million things you can do, but try uninstalling your detonators and directx and put in new ones. But before you do that, switch from recompiler to interpreter before you try to walk tro the door.

Detonators are the video drivers for your graphics card. You can update them at www.nvidia.com. I'd also make sure that your rom is a verified good dump by scanning it with GoodN64 from the downloads section of emutalk, and I'd also test it with 1964 or a different video plugin. If the same thing happens then its probably the rom. I'd also make sure that you are using the most up to date PJ64 (PJ64 1.5 SP1 from http://pj64.emulation64.com/iedefault.htm)

it's just posssible you've found a (new) fault in the video plugin, if you could provide a state and instructions on how to recreate that would be appreciated.

Try jumping down one step in version order of Jabo´s plugins, i.e if you are using v1.51 try v1.5 and if you are using v1.5 try v1.4 and so forth...
