What's that...?
i'm installing KDE 3.1 using konstruct. howeveer, in the middle of it i got an error. apparently it needs the files Xlib.h, Xutil.h, Xos.h, Xatom.h, shape.h. I'm guessing these all of these headers have to do with X. Is there a package that has these that i can install. Help would be great, as i really wanna install 3.1 (malcom, alpha, im lookin at you guys! of course other help would be greatly appreciated as well). thanks alot

Before I search around aim-less-ly for some header files, can you try to find the headers on your computer yourself? They are probably installed (or you don't have X source on there).

If you can find the files then the make file is pointing to the wrong places for the headers. If you can't find them then grab the XFree sources from www.rpmfind.net

You need to install xlib (or xwindow or xfree or whatever they call it) dev package. It's not the source code but it contains all headers and all files needed to compile xwindow programs.
