Large response to beta test ;)

Hi,

Thanks for your requests to be a part of our beta team. I am working through my private messages now and will respond to each of them individually.

I think we have enough requests at the moment to assemble a decent team. This of course is open to more staff in the future if we need to take on more people.

A friend of mine at emulation64 will be setting up a PHP-based ftp system for our private beta rollout. This may be completed by mid-week. I will have further information as it becomes available.

do you allow your beta testers to post screenshots? that'd be cool for the rest of us n00bs.

Testers will be able to say whatever they want about the private betas and post shots if they like.. as long as the beta isn't leaked . The reason that we care about avoiding leaks is because we don't want people to use a product of a lower quality than what we finally want out there, or a product that causes compatibility problems with the final 1964.

It escapes me why anyone would want to leak something.

A) What does it produce?

Nothing thats what, its counter productive, it usually makes authors quit their projects, take corn for example, someone leaked that and the author left, or thats why people believe he left, its the most likely reason.

B) What can you possibly get out of it?

Nothing again, in fact you get less out of it, because you instantly become to anyone untrustworthy.

C) its not their's so they have no right to do so.

I know That I do not want leaks in the final version, just keep up with the testing, I really hope that DK64 works perfectly, in fact its the second thing on my list to play when the new version comes out
