does it make any difference which version of JFG i download?

I also have the U ROM, it's OK.
But it's not being displayed the right way (I mean it's always being displaying at 16:9, but in a 4:3 mode, so it's scaled up and down).

The widescreen must be buggy (It does the same in Jabo's and Rice's, the two plugins that support the game) You'll have to use the non-widescreen.

All in Wonder Radeon 7500

The shot you posted looks identical to what happens if you select widescreen from the internal options in the game. You might have turned it on by accident. In the following screenshot, I have 'widescreen off' on the left and 'widescreen on' on the right:

Nope, widescreen is off (and it's was like this when I downloaded it, and first used it).
Note: I haven't played it much on PJ64, I mostly play the real thing.

Not suprised, nVidia don't have this problem, is it all messed up in game aswell? Gent probably knows what to do, but he's gone to bed. Play with FDE/FDC/External.

Sorry, widescreen was on:blush: , but the background is not right (I hate too say it, it looks like it's 16:9 mode) see attached image.
Left is 4:3 mode and right is 16:9 mode

Edit: the plant is not round on PJ64, but in the real thing it is round

Make sure your GFX Drivers are upto date & DX
Plus have you checked this with Goodn64 ?

OK, I fixed my 16:9 problem (but not the background), and I have the newest drivers for my card (minus the capture driver) and I have DX9a.
