Jabo's Direct Sound 1.5

I seem to be having trouble getting sound to work at all on pj 64 using the default sound plugin which i suspect to be jabo's Dsound 1.5. Every time i go to the settings dialogue box in under options and select Jabo's Dsound 1.5 it says something like "The default or selected plugin is missing or invalid; Check that you have at least one compatible plugin in your plugins folder." It says the same thing when i use Azimer's Audio as well. I can run the emulator with all games if i use the no sound plugin. My system is a Dell 4500s running windows XP, 256 megs of RAM, P4 2Gigahertz, SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio (which is onboard), and some onboard integrated video system that works fine. I've got Direct X 8.1 on this thing. I can't figure out what's going on. Maybe someone out there can help me. thanks

The Great One
I know what I am saying may be a little funny, but before I had a graphics card; I didnt have sound with PJ64 either, now I do. I find it weird that audio and Video plugins work together somehow.
I have onboard sound as well on my computer, so in other words your system is perfect for emulating games.
Recommendation; get a graphics card, make sure you know if your computer as an AGP interface port before you buy one.

That Damn Good
I had that same problem before, you might wanna reinstall pj64 and see if that helps. If that doesn't help then try redownloading pj64. I'm pretty sure that it doesn't have anything to do with the video card because sound works on my old system that don't have a graphics card.
