It's Too Slow!

I have the goo requirimentes for the Project 64 1.5 but when I load ANY room the game gets slow, more slow than the normal game, and I don't know if there is an option or a button ( like the Snes emulators, You press a button and the Frame Skip gets higer). Please Help me! :bouncy:

Does this happen with all video plugins that you have tryed,please post your computer specs as well as your videocard and plugins your using.

1,1 Ghz, 256Mb Ram, Sis 630/720 On Board (64 Mb) 2 Hd's of 40 GB, and i think that's it, doesn't have a button to acellerate the game in any nintendo 64 emulator?

The most likely cause of the slowdown is the SiS graphics. Although they are very capable of rendering graphics (fairly) correctly in N64 games, they are very slow compared to a dedicated NVIDIA/ATi graphics card.

My suggestion to you would to download the very latest drivers from the SiS site, and use lower resolutions if you are using a high resolution.

Well,my SiS works fine with Jabo´s D3D6 1.5.1 (but still sucks )
Another question: yor Proccesor is an AMD or Intel?
And the last one: SiS 630/720 or SiS 630/730?

Ops, yeah, my processor is a AMD 1700+ but the clock is not actvate, so the speed still on 1.1 Ghz. And my SiS is a 630/730, sorry... what is the official SiS web Site to i download the newsted version? another thing: The FPS, that shows in the lower part at right in the project 64 emulator when a rom is loaded, stays 30 to 40, is that normal? thanks arty:

I think...SiS 630/730 is made for AMD Duron/Athlon (not XP) maybe that is your problem.
