i dont have the money right now to buy a BBA. I need to know if you can use the serial port. i hear it is a really slow port. well i dont care. i have a computer that i can leave on for a month if it really needs that long. i know that you could rip dreamcast games throught the serial port so i think that you can with the gamecube. i figure that i might need to make cable or something and possibly an isa card for my comp. this is no problem for me. i just want something to do. i have like 20 games for the gamecube and i'm dying to see if i can get em to work on pc. i dont want to go into the whole illegal scene and download em. so i am just trying to do this the legitament way. so please give me a hand.

considering how much is known about the serial port I doubt anyone without docs could stream anything from it... and in the state GC emulation is atm vs how fast pc's are you are really better off playing them on your gc..

serial port = slow
gc image = 1.4gb
serial port + 1.4gb image = forever

and theres no way to connect it to the serial port afaik. ethernet is so much faster anyway
