a friend of mine just got an ipod video and he asked me to copy some of his DVDs onto it since his comp doesnt rea DVDs. after some tinkering and what not i was able to put the trailer of SSB Brawl on it as a test, but the thing is when i updated the ipod all his songs got erased since they werent on my comp. but i found a setting that turns off updating the music so thats easily taken care of. but my question is after i put all the movies on my comp then update them onto his ipod.....if i delete the movies off my comp (but not playlist in itunes, because i deleted the trailer and its still on the playlist but just wont play obviously) and say he wants me to add another one, will it update that new movie and get rid of the old ones or keep them. pretty much i wanna get rid of the movies off my comp but make the ipod not delete them if i ever have to update it again..................I'd check the setting on itunes but i dont have his ipod right now
