IoControl: ERROR.....WTFFFFFF!?

Everytime I try to start a game (mounted image first using daemon4.08(x64) then Alcohol 120%), the bios runs just fine and immediately following that I get an IoControl message box that pops up and just says error.

I've tried using the ChankastEx wrapper (as suggested previously in this forum) to no avail, I realized I was using dtools 4.06 and upgraded but that didn't work, I even tried renaming and using PS2 CDVD plugins that were for PCSX2 and that didn't even come close to working at all, it just isn't working.

What other kinds of work arounds can I find for this type of thing?

I'm running WinXP(x64) on an AMD64 +3000, I'm using either DTools 4.08 x64 or Alcohol 120% v1.9.6 b4719.

Well, if you happen to come back, try using Daemon Tools 3.29. I had the IO problem as well. Installing DT 3.29 fixed it. If you've got Service Pack 2 installed, USE CAUTION! Often (if not every time), when people are running SP2, and they install DT 3.29, it crashes their PC with a Blue Screen of Death. And from what I've heard, it's rather difficult to fix that problem. I'm still running SP1, and that's one of the reasons.

There's a new problem now. DTools reported that the CDI couldn't be read by windows, so I converted it to an NRG and successfully burned a disc that I could browse which autorun reports as a pictures disc, but now Chankast only shows it as an audio CD...But I think I read something about this type of problem somewhere in this very forum......
