I'm trying to get my BBA ripped Sonic Adventure DC game to work *Plz Read*

I have ripped my Sonic Adventure game to my computer using my Dreamcast broadband adapter.

Now, I would like to make a full iso image of the game (which is greater than 1 GB) to just run as a Virtual CD through Chankast, but I am unable to make the game boot.

Does anyone know how I can take the data and create a bootable CD of it, to run through Chankast (many tutorials on the net did not help me).

When I had ripped the game to my PC, it came in 3 files, track01.iso, track02.raw, track03.iso. The track02 is the audio file, and the 1ST-READ.bin or whatever is inside the track03 (which I managed to extract).

I'm just trying to find a way that I can convert everything into a .cdi file and able to run it successfully on Chankast.

P.S. There was one program that was not vague enough, so if you know how, please explain in detail. Thank You!

Dollop.
Making an educated guess here, I'd reckon that all the SAdv. game data files are in track03.iso - track01.iso (contains extras, e.g. desktop wallpaper, that you can also read from a PC's CD/DVD drive) and track02.raw (an audio track which says "this disc is only designed for use in a Dreamcast") aren't needed to make a self-boot CDI file. Making one isn't too difficult - first you'll need to download ExoBoot, and also a utility called Extract. Then to help with actually making the self-boot CDI images, I wrote a guide on using ExoBoot a while ago, which you can find (along with some other handy guides) in this document. Hopefully I've managed to refine it enough so that anybody can understand it, but if you have any troubles with the guide, give us a shout. =P

P.S. Since you ripped your game via a BBA, you'll probably be able to skip most of the "verification of corrupted files" section - just make sure to read the bit at the top which tells you what commands to use to extract the files from the ISO.

Corrupted files shouldn't occur with BBAs - I just wrote that bit because I found that although I've been able to rip DC games with my Lite-ON DVD drive (there's some other docs on my site about this, note the links in my signature), I found that most of the games I dumped wouldn't work in Chankast due to a load of files being corrupted, for some weird reason.

Apparently... Nothing has worked.

I did everything including using BinHack.
I ran cdrecord -scanbus, then cdrecord -dev 1,0,0 -msinfo (something like that) to get 0,12311.

I have one question, is it possible to build an image of the Sonic Adventure DC game over 1 GB, run it under Daemon Tools, and still be able to run the image, or does the image have to be under 700 MB to be able to run on Chankast? I can't see StateS's GD-ROM ripping guide for games greater than 700 MB anywhere (not even a google search).

Would you like for me to upload all my files to a server so that you can try and see what you could do?

Nothing works, can someone provide me with a link to UNPACK.EXE (Search Engines like Yahoo & Google have no links).

Or could someone serious help me to create a self-bootable iso from the files I have, track01.iso, track02.raw, and track03.iso, if I upload them to a server...

I think that there seems to be a problem in the way I am selfbooting my games.

I used an already ripped Sonic Adventure DC iso, sonic_adventure1_kouji_dcf.cdi, with the heading, DA1M0N_SA1. I used IP Extractor.exe to extract the IP.BIN from the .cdi file. Then, I transferred every file in the .cdi file into a folder.

Now, I ran Exoboot 1,31, I put my IP.BIN that I extracted into Exoboot's main DIR with the 1ST_READ.BIN file from the .cdi file, and ran Exoboot. Now, my end file is image.cdi which is 722 MB, just the same as the original .cdi.

I ran the .cdi file in DiscJuggler 4x using correct Mode 2, CD-DA, RAW settings, and was able to burn it into a CD-R. Now, my CD-R does not boot in my actual Dreamcast. When I burned the original .cdi file, it worked, but the one I re-packed does not work.

If I have one extra file in the CD, does it affect if the CD can boot or not, for ex: if I left IP.BIN in the CD DIR, when the original did not contain IP.BIN in any DIR in the CD?...
