I'm Stuck! and cant figure out gamebuster

Hi,
If any of you have played RE: Code Veronica, I'm sure you will know what I'm talking about. I went a long time without saving in the game, and just saved it before the first boss on the plain. I have 2 grenades, and a lot of bolts. Apparently, according to a walkthrough, I need a lot of explosive weapons, so my only option, besides that which would take hours on end, is to cheat. Does anyone know how to get gamebuster to work? It says something about finding the codes, but I really don't know how to do that, or what to do if I found them. Or, might anyone know any strategies I could use in the game in this situation? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. I tried the Chankast Cheater. I start Chankast, pause it at the main menu of RE: Code Veronica, load Chankast Cheater- (and also tried Chankast Cheater+), and it says it found the base address. It has RECV (Resident Evil Code Veronica) already selected, but no cheats listed, so I drop down the menu and select REVC. Then the list appears. I select the cheats I want activated, and turn on the trainer, so that it says "trainer is activated" But, it still doesn't work. Could it be that I have to start over in a new game in RECV, without loading one? Or does it have anything to do with the fact that this version of RECV is a Spanish version? Thanks again

Hmm, I see. Well, I actually was able to get past the part I was stuck at in between our messages, with my lucky crossbow. My next problem, for anyone who has played RECV is this: My last save point is before the boss at the end of CD1. I beat him, and then there is no way to save it. There's a cut-scene, and then the emulation ends, because it needs cd 2. I load CD2, and I cant load the game I was on, because it was on CD1. And I obviously can't start a new game, because the new game would also be on CD1. Any suggestions?

P.S.- I have both CD1 and CD2 Spanish versions of RECV, and i also have another English version CD2 of RECV. I tried Chankast Cheater for the English version, and it worked fine, but I can't use that version because my save games don't show up on it, unlike the CD2 Spanish version.

I have another question. Is it possible that Chankast can create an error in in-game play, aside from graphical errors? I suppose I can describe my problem, but only those who have run throught the game might remember it. At Antarctica, with Chris, I'm supposed to grab a blue jewel off the head of a Tiger Statue. I've looked at a few walkthroughs, and followed them precisely to do everything I need to do. I grab it, and rather than the statue spinning around like it's supposed to, nothing happens. In fact, the jewel goes straight to my inventory, and yet remains on the statue. I grab another, and the same thing happens, such that I can keep getting more jewels, wen I'm only supposed to get two. And because of this, I can't advance in the game at all.

So is it possible that this could be an issue involving the emulator? Or perhaps my Spanish version of the game?Thanks

Thanks. I tried loading the save game file on my English version of CD2 RECV, and using the item cheat. It seemed to work, until I combined the socket with the octagon valve handle , which then just turned it into a socket again. So it didn't work. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a cheat to just get Alexander's jewel? Thanks

Oh, I get it now. It makes every item that appears in slot one turn into a socket as long as the trainer is on. Nevermind :)
