i'm having trouble and the FAQ didn't help

hi, i'm only really concerned because 2 of my friends have chankast running no their pcs and they are almost identicle to mine. i meet the system requirements of chankast, and don't get any error messages. it's just the video isn't right. on the dashboard i can't see the words file/play etc. when i load powerstone for example, it's really ugly and not what it should be like. even when the game starts the dreamcast logo isn't visable, only a gray triangle. any help with this is highly appreciated.

I'm bumping this up because I'm having the exact same problems. I'm trying to run Chankast on a Toshiba Satillite A105 S4004 laptop that uses the Mobile Intel 945GM chipset for graphics. I've already updated all my drivers for it, so that isn't the problem.

To go into a bit more detail, I've been trying to run JoJo's Bizzarre Adventure and Project Justice, but all that I've gotten is a flat grey startup screen and random blocks of color when the game loads. The browser looks alright, but there is no text and the colors look washed out.

Chankasyt will not run properly on most integrated graphics chips (even less on anything made by Intel).

I can't get mine to run a game at all!

I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 2.167Ghz, with a Creative Sound Blaster Xtreme Music audio card.

I have the bios and flash files. For some reason it says there is no disc in the drive.

The Drive Letter is K, and I'm using Daemon Tools 3.29 for mounting the image. I have chankast 0.25 Alpha.

So, anyone know what could be wrong here?
