I need some help with my PJ64

Here`s the deal. I`m a complete newbie it comes to emulators so please bare with me. So, I downloaded PJ64, installed it properly and was ready to enjoy the games when I discovered something wasn`t right. Whenever I would start a game the picture would be all messed up. Judging by the sound the game is running because I can hear what`s going on when I`m pressing the controls but I can`t see anything because the picture looks like this:

I would try to start the game again, and again but it won`t work and I have tried with various games so the problem is definately not in the roms. Then sometimes the entire PJ64 would just itself down for no apparent reason or I would get this error (picture below) and then PJ64 would get shot down:

I read all the FAQs and such but I couldn`t find a solution to my problem which is why I decided to ask here. Does anybody know how to solve that problem?

IIRC, NBA Jam 200 isn't fully supported by Project64. Regardless, it would have been great if you'd posted your computer specs and video card.

Actually last week I had my Windows re-installed and that`s when the problems started. Before that everything was working just fine but that`s neither here, nor there. Anyways, any ideas how to solve this?

I had it re-installed for me since I myself can`t do it but yeah, it was re-installed properly. Everything but PJ64 works the way it should and I have no other problems but that one.

P.S. I`m off to bed since it`s getting really late here and hopefully in the meantime somebody would be able to offer me a solution to the problem.

^ Yes!!! That solved my problem, thanx a lot!

However, there`s still a slight problem. I have this mod for a game and in order for it to run it requires that I use Rice`s Video Plugin 6.1.1 beta 10 (I was using that one until your advice, and it also requires me clicking the "Load hi-res textures if available" box from the Configure Graphics Plugin > Texture Filters menu. Is there any way I can get that mod to work under Jabo`s Direct3D 6 Plugin or any other of the pluggins without my picture being screwy?

Jabo`s 1.7 plugin? Where do I get that one from because all I see in the PJ64 is Jabo`s 1.6, 1.40 and 1.5.2 plugins.

You don't get it anywhere unless you donate to the Project64 team and get access to the Project64 1.7 beta.
