I need help please I'm new

Hi.
I'm new to Project64 but totally interested.
But when i play my games they are all slow and I have the latest version
I have:
Donkey Kong 64
GoldenEye 007
Mario Party 3
Mario Tennis
Perfect Dark
and more.....

and I would mostly appreciated if some1 could tell me the best codecs to use for these games or most games

It would probably be best if you listed your specs.

Project64 is not exactly the fastest emulator and with your specs, you'd be better off trying a different emulator. 1964 is recommended most often as a faster alternative for slow computers, but I'm not sure if 500 MHz is enough for even 1964. But if you pick the right video and audio plugins it might just be enough.

If you're feeling adventurous you could use the old SupraHLE which is far faster but much less compatible - out of all those ROMs I believe only Goldeneye runs with it. Or perhaps Corn... even faster and even less compatible =)
