i just downloaded perfect dark and project 64 1.5 beta.

and i have a problem..slow speed.

i always get 25-35 fps when i`m in the building
but when i`m in the stairs i get 60 fps or more..
what is the problem?

My computer:
1400 mhz amd
512 megs
Geforce 2
soundblaster 128

i think i know what the problem is, when theres a certain amount of bad guys on the screen, the game tends to slow down.
If this is the prob higher spec is required. But this may not b the prob tho

also Perfect dark is one of the biggest n64 roms and has goldeneye stuff on it e.g engine and that& goldeneye tends to be slow on pj, so that might be the prob, sorry i couldnt be more of help

but I actually talked to a guy with a 2.2 ghz cpu, and his PD was slow too, so I guess it's not a matter of specs....

play with the counter factor when you are playing PD. i can get it to a good speed from time to time (55+ fps)

it works fine for me (as does goldeneye now with 1964) i get a constant 50-60 fps in both games on 640x480, and when i put it to 800x600 it stays about the same. u have just about identical specs to me except for the graphics card. in which case ures is better than mine cos sis730 is shit. well it is to everyone other than me. no problems here. try 1964 with pd and mess about with the counter factor. its too fast for me with 1964 though

use jabos d3d 7 1.40. i always ge that error with opengl plugins
