I feel terrible.

why do I say this? it's because of a certain experience in GameFAQs (www.gamefaqs.com). almost everyone should know this site, otherwise they should be shot down.

I am a user in gameFAQs, and i make FAQs. That's the first thing.

Now the thing is, I don't know why I feel so upset when I work hard and try to make my FAQ the only one to be the most complete, and then someone comes along and thrashes my dreams.

I work as fast as possible, but treating my FAQ with respect and making it as comprehensive as I possibly can. I try to make every FAQ complete as possible.

and yet, when someone comes along and takes out everything my FAQ hoped to stand for, I suddenly find my FAQ utterly useless, and thinking, "What's the point of completing it yourself and wasting all those hours when pple will just point at you and say "you plagiarised"?"

common sense tells me, that I should respect that FAQ author, and finish my FAQ because there's no use in crying over drunk milk. but this will only come from a person who doesn't understand my position.

I have reflected long and hard upon this, while trying to devote my whole heart upon this issue.

- am I too self-centred?
- do I work too hard to please pple?
- is it worth the trouble to finish the FAQ when someone's gotten far beyond what I aimed for?

I had no idea where to post this, if I posted it on gameFAQs I feared laughter and sarcastic remarks from many pple there. Those here in emutalk who are familiar with gameFAQs, you will know.

please help me, someone. I can't be miserable over a simple pastime, but...

wait, whats the situation. Did that other author, with the more complete FAQ, copy yours and claim it to be his or did he just have a much more complete one?

It's life. :p

Cope with it. There's always someone who'll have a better car, or a better house, or a better job, or a better whatever. Life is a bitch. So fuck it like one.

Well, If its any consollation, I often run into extremely complete FAQs on that site that are organized so poorly that I find another one to save my self the trouble of sifting through it. I'd say, post yours too, cause some people may not like the format of the other one.

Go ahead and post your faq, even if isn't as good, as detailed it should contain at least a couple of entries the other FAQ doesn't. And the option to choose is always great...
