Three words: Not gonna happen;

Why: The Nintendo DS is not powerful enough, that's reason enough - The DS isn't even close to the n64 in hardware either and then, even if some miracle the DS COULD [which it can't] run an n64 emulator, the controls would be very bad indeed.

Seems almost like some people have the misconception that the DS is like a portable N64 with a lower resolution, or the graphics hardware of the DS is on par with the N64.

Too bad. Although I don't share in that misconception (I know better), emulation wise it would be cool to just see it load some N64 stuff even if it's really slow or just demos or something. I enjoy playing the various games, but I'm also amazed just to see them run on other hardware even if it's not proper speed.
