How works this Codes?

Ok, I now ione thing: When I type instead of the question marks a number, so many half hearts has the boss opponent. But then they´re unbeatible!!!

The hearts don´t go away if I heart the bosses!!

Perhaps you could set it to just one unit of health, resume the game, and then disable the code. Codes force a certain area of memory to equal a certain value, so disabling a code will allow the game to change that area of memory again, allowing you (in this case) to further reduce the boss' health. You might also be able to make the boss have zero health and then attack it to kill it.
