How to rip sound files?

I was looking for some sound on some ROM, like the Rice's texture dump. I can record them, but I don't have the "true" volume (on the game, as most next to you the explosion is, higher volume...) and etc, I need equalize it and the result is not what I exactly want.
I tryied to search for something like that, but I don't find nothing.

I think you mean you want the sound to have a specific dB level (ie how loud it is)?
The sound in N64 is usually MID, which can be dynamic. But if you can record it, then I suggest you try a normalizer program to change the sound level. Mp3gain in one such program, though not designed for this purpose in mind, it will do.
Remember that there's usually no "real" sound level in N64 games since they use MID. So I believe anyway.
