What do I do on this page? Whats the max I can update with geforce 4? Uninstalling the driver might screw up my computer... Since I'm a bit paranoid, whats the best plugin for NVidia geforce4 MX 420? Most of em' I can't configure.

You read it, since it tells you that you need to uninstall the old driver first and then restart your PC.

You can download drivers from here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2k_archive.html

You need to use a driver in the 5x.xx range. Uninstalling a graphics driver will not screw up your PC, it will just be a little slow until you install the new driver.

Uninstalling a previous driver is not required, but recommended by most and many. Myself I see no point to such a thing as I've never experienced any troubles or improvements in doing so.

After uninstalling I use Driver Cleaner Pro to clear out any remnants of the old stuff (since uninstalling technically doesn't remove all traces of the old driver..... check your registry, for example...... then again, I'm one of those computer "neat-freaks")......... I don't think it's free anymore, but if you do some searching around you still might be able to find the old version lingering around on some sites.

The last known WHQL driver (Win2K/XP) supported on the GF4 cards is 93.71, but as mentioned above, the 5x.xx series is probably the best to use, seeing as there don't seem to be any real improvements from then on (since NVIDIA concentrates themselves more on fixing/improving stuff in their newer products).
