How do I run GC disks on the computer?

I'm a total emulating noob, and I couldn't figure out how to open a gamecube disk on the emulator. Is it possible to run a GC game on a computer? If not, how do I get my game from the disk onto my computer's hard drive?

Your PC DVD drive cant read GC-Minidvd´s ! Please look at the rules and F.A.Q for answers
